Easy Peasy!
- Click on the date (the actual number) that you wish to add an entry.
- Click on the "Add Event" icon (the big blue "plus sign").
- Type a brief but descriptive name into "Event Title". This is what will be displayed on the main calendar view when you're done.
- Type additional event information into the "Event Description" box. Go ahead and use lots of words, they're free!
- Skip down to the "Category" pull-down menu, and select the most appropriate category for your event.
- The first part of the next section, "Event Date", is self-explanatory. For "Duration", you can select how long your event will last. The first option is pretty specific; 1 hour and 30 minutes for a lunch special, for example. The last option, "No end date", might apply to something like the start of a new photography club.
- "Contact Info" is where you let people know how to get additional information for your event; phone, fax, email, website, etc.
- Does your even repeat? Poker every Friday night at Dave's? If so, click on the little "plus sign" button to the right of "Repeat Event". Select how often your event happens, and either how many times, or when it stops, by date.
- When you are happy with the details of your event, click the "Add Event" button at the bottom.
- To see your event, navigate back to the Events Calendar. If you need to change something, or cancel it altogether, click on the date and select either the "Edit Event" or " Delete Event" icon on the far right.
That's it! Add your events to get the word out!
